back when the maloof contest was in dc, the shop ended up getting a booth there, which meant i got in for free. so me, alex, and luke went to check it out the day of the finals.
we had access to the "vip" area so we saw alotta dudes walking around. reynolds posing with a fan.
i felt funny fanning out on all the dudes, taking pictures of them or with them. but i saw lizard walking around and i knew this had to happen.

before his run, lutzka kept on waxing up the rail, even though everyone else seemed to be skating it fine. so before manny santigo's run, manny went up and started scraping wax off the rail with his board. automatic respect.
