My Mom's Not Home Again-Pt.4

the friday before my mom came home we tried to get an early start.

matt and jake came over early and we got to work on a flag.

the plan was to take the new flag and plant it next to the original flag. we were just about to head out the door when i got a call from my dad saying my grandmother and uncle were at his house. so we put off the flag mission until night time and i went off to visit with family.

flash forward a couple of hours to around 1o or 12 at night and me, matt, and luke were in rachels car, on our way to the woods where the orginal flag was planted.

i charged off into the woods ahead of the group and luke followed, we ended up being seperated from the group for the majority of the time in the woods, so we thought it would be wise to get sticks.

at one point i found it neccessary to climb a tree.

however at no point did i find it neccessary to almost lose my shoe in mud.

eventually me and luke caught up with the group. this is the group minus me, luke, matt, and rachel. there were a couple randoms in the group, i know alex all the way to the left, kalli next to him, jake in yellow, then jake's girlfriend in front of him, no clue who the chick in gray was.

after that everyone headed to donut shack.

and this post brings an end to my mom not being home again.

in news unrelated to my mom not being home, alex played a St. Vincent song for me a few days ago, then a few days after that i bought a nico cd, and then i ran into this the other day.

thursday alex, matt, rachel, and me had lunch at this lebanese place

matt saw this firetruck outside and said he "needed" a picture with it, he was psyched on it for the rest of the day

i was psyched on this for the rest of the day

that night rachel, matt, luke, and me went downtown to check out some giant geese

the next day i hungout with kate for alittle bit

she's trying to get a job at this cake place

a couple hours passed and night came and matt, alex, and rachel came over to my house. after only 5 minutes of being in the house edwards ended up with a bloody nose.

these are bruises on edwards from the night before. my living room with the light outs turned out to be an awesome place for fights, so many fights took place. these bruises are from either a bat or a cat toy, we're not quite sure.

later that night we ended up downtown. i don't know whats going on in this picture

then we played basketball until a couple guys who were serious about basketball showed up and took over the court.

My Mom's Not Home Again-Pt. 1

my mom left for germany the friday before last and won't be coming back for two weeks. so this leaves my sister and me in the house, and that means my sister is in charge. however my sister left last tuesday to go stay with my uncle for a little bit which means, i'm left in the house and i'm in charge. this is the first night of me being in charge.(oh yea, quick side note, you can't tell because of the flash, but matt and i made a deal that i'm not allowed to use the lights until my sister gets home, so any pictures taken inside my house on these next few posts are in the dark)

a few friends decided to come over and hangout in the dark, luke was there

i had intended it to be a formal get together, so i was alittle over dressed

after a couple hours of darkness, we decided to go down to the shit pond

on our way there we saw a pizza box!!!

after the shit pond and wanted to get home and get comfortable, but certain people weren't having it...

i wish my mom was back already...
